The opportunity many African entrepreneurs anxiously expect is here again – the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program (TEEP) has commenced for the 2018 edition. Selected winners will get $5,000 each to kick-start their business. The best part is you could be one of them!
That would be something, wouldn’t it?
It’s not only about the money, though. The selected entrepreneurs-to-be will get priceless mentoring from field experts and from the man himself. This is a rare opportunity, one that many young people have prayed for hours without end.
But prayers alone won’t cut it now, would it? You still need to prepare, have a good business idea, put your best foot forward, and it all starts from the application stage.
Many people have asked me about some questions in the application portal. A lot of them simply do not know what to do when they get there.
To many people, application should be as simple as just submitting your business plan and hoping for the best. But this is not a simple application process eh? You are applying for a $5,000 grant! Anyway…
How to apply for the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program
So for my people who are confused about applying for TEEP, I prepared this video to show you how it’s done – the application process.
I explained some key concepts you should have in mind while filling the forms. I also explained while you should spend time to prepare a business plan even though you are not required to submit one.
Finally, I explained how to put your best foot forward while applying for TEEP. You will find it all in the video below:
This is my labor of love to make sure my readers have a fair chance of success in this program. All I need from you is to do your best to succeed in it. When you do, maybe send me an email and tell me how it all goes.
Finally, I do not work for TEEP, I have no affiliation with them. I only made this video out of my experience and basically common sense to help people who don’t seem to understand the process.
If you want to know whether your application was received or when the next phase would begin or something like that, please do not ask me as I don’t work for or with TEEP.
If, however, you have a business related question or you simply want to say THANK YOU for this video, then post your comment below; I’d be thrilled to receive it and respond as necessary.
Also share this video to reach your friends, you could be helping someone out.
